Robben Island Singers Event Photos

Groundswell creates multi-media and live exchanges between high school students and participants in world events. The Robben Island Singers teach students to communicate across cultures and to recognize the universality of the struggle for human rights and dignity.

The Singers are ordinary men who are struggling to gain freedom, build a new democracy and develop a place in the global economy. Through media, technology and travel students are inspired by the Singers to stand up for what they believe in and to understand the power of the arts in creating social change.
